To find us by road:
Eagle Moor is situated approximately 2 miles off the A46 between Lincoln and Newark. We are actually very easy to find and to stay on the main road is by far the easiest option rather than cutting across country - with the exception of anyone coming from the Dunham Bridge direction where it is quicker to cut through Doddington village. Also from the Newark direction, it is possible for 7.5 tonnes or less to cut through Thorpe on the Hill.
PLEASE NOTE - Sat Navs do not always give you the best route! I am happy to give directions over the phone if you are not sure where we are!

ROADWORKS

Many of you will already know about the roadworks on the A46 at the Whisby/Eagle junction, but if not, here are some tips:

From Newark direction - you can turn left off A46, but on the return journey you are NOT able to turn right - therefore turn left and go around the Damons roundabout - which is only a few hundred yards away and within sight.

From the north - as it is not possible to turn right off the A46, you will need to cut across from the Damons roundabout towards Doddington, but then take the first left towards Thorpe On The Hill and Whisby. It is a narrow road with a sharp right hand bend half way along. At the next crossroads, STOP - then go straight on when clear. At the next T-junction, you are back onto the main Whisby to Eagle road - turn right and we are a few hundred yards on your right, just around the bend.

NB - The event entrance is AFTER the house!

Return journey - fine to turn left onto the A46 as usual.

The signed diversion from the north sends you a very long way to the next roundabout (Pennels) and then you have to come back on yourself to turn left. This adds several miles and a lot more minutes to your journey, therefore the Doddington cut-across is by far the best route - unless you are a very large vehicle!

Although the roadworks are causing traffic to slow, there are not usually any major delays, but please do allow a little extra time to be sure.

Anyone leaving the event towards Newark is currently unable to turn right due to the on-going roadworks. Please turn left then around the next roundabout to the left which is within sight and is a far safer and usually quicker option!
